Mango Alley is very pleased to present the second installment of ALLEYS, the label’s annual compilation series, once again featuring some of the leading names in progressive and tech house. The critically acclaimed first installment, released in November 2009, was mixed by legendary house DJ and producer Cid Inc remains one of the imprint’s most popular and top-selling releases.

This time around, core contributor and label radio show co-host Luke Porter has performed mixing duties. Luke presents a wide variety of exclusive originals and remixes from the finest international artists, as he showcases the various shades of house throughout his mix: from the club-killing techy grooves of Alter Breed and Paul Thomas, to the beachside vibes of Passenger 10. Other top artists represented here include the phenomenal English duo Solarity, famous Russian act Moonbeam, Swedish chartstormer Karl Johan, and progressive house artist-of-the-moment Soundprank.

Welcome to the new version of lukeporter.com – powered by the very excellent WordPress! I hope you enjoy the new design.

Music
I’ve been quite busy in the studio this year, so there are a number of new tracks being prepared for release very soon. First up in late September / early October is an original track of mine called ‘Metropolis’ on microCastle Music. It will be accompanied by some big remixes from Cid Inc, Thomas Langner, Inkfish & Khainz. I’ll post more information closer to release.
