I’ve got a bunch of new tracks scheduled for release in the near future. Before Xmas, Medway and I got together to write an EP for microCastle. Then the label decided to go ahead and line up a bunch of massive remixes as well – solid! Very excited about this and can’t wait to play all the new remixes out in clubland. I’ve also just completed a remix for Flow Records since returning from holidays. Very happy with how it turned out as well.

Upcoming Mango Alley Sampler

My new track, ‘Luke Porter – Passive Aggressive‘ was selected by Mango to appear on his label’s upcoming compilation.

Mango Alley is proud to present its first ever “sampler” – a collection of tunes that represent the many dimensions of the label’s sound, as well as its vision for the future. In celebration of the label’s one year anniversary, this special package showcases the work of fifteen of the brightest stars in progressive and tech house, including label veterans Luke Porter, Cid Inc., Solarity, Bale & Voltaire, and Lank.

Upcoming compilation appearance

My original progressive house track ‘DMZ’ is about to be featured on Matt Rowan’s upcoming compilation for Baroque Records. Here is a preview of the cover art, and also an extract from the press release.

Baroque records continue the ‘exploring..’ series from Australia. The local talent scout this time, is Matt Rowan. Following his previous releases with baroque, we thought he’d be the perfect candidate to sniff out those unheard gems.. as well as grabbing a tune or two from some of his producer friends, such as Jaytech & Luke Porter.

Welcome to the new version of lukeporter.com – powered by the very excellent Wordpress! I hope you enjoy the new design.

Music
I’ve been quite busy in the studio this year, so there are a number of new tracks being prepared for release very soon. First up in late September / early October is an original track of mine called ‘Metropolis’ on microCastle Music. It will be accompanied by some big remixes from Cid Inc, Thomas Langner, Inkfish & Khainz. I’ll post more information closer to release.
